Our business model is based on arranging finance for our EM based clients, supporting the secondary market liquidity in the EM fixed income space through our dedicated trading desks and providing research coverage for the whole life of the securities we originate.
Our Approach To Emerging Markets
We focus on emerging and frontier markets which can exhibit volatility due to political uncertainty, abrupt changes in monetary and fiscal policies, and over-reliance on commodities. They are historically opaque with limited data compared to developed economies, leading to imperfect & mispriced markets, offering unique arbitrage opportunities.
We consider there to be a significant dislocation in certain credit markets within Emerging Markets, leaving EM-based issuers, financial institutions and global investors alike, under serviced or de-risked by the City and Wall Street. We intend to fill that void in EM by:
- providing liquidity in the high beta secondary markets within EM;
- arranging bespoke innovative funding strategies; and
- delivering on-the-ground true market colour and analytics.
